Pulsonix and Windows 7 Support

Microsoft Windows 7 release October 2009

October 2009 - With the global release of the new Windows 7® operating system from Microsoft®, David Manns, head of Pulsonix development for Westdev Ltd comments on Windows 7 and support for Pulsonix.

"Windows 7 is the latest incarnation of Windows from Microsoft and has been released world-wide. We are pleased to announce full support for Pulsonix V6.0 running under Windows 7 32 bit.

Tests of Pulsonix under Windows 7 at our research and development centre here in the UK show that there are no major visible problems. As an official Microsoft Development Partner, we are privileged to be constantly provided with the latest operating systems under the MDP scheme. This is a continual scheme with regular updates, including that of the latest ‘cut’ of Windows 7.

As with all new operating systems, we only officially provide support of Pulsonix once the operating systems have been officially released by Microsoft. For Windows 7. We will only be able to support the released version of Windows 7 and not the pre-release Beta versions, and for Pulsonix, version 6.0 and later; no earlier versions can be supported."
