Posted - 28 Jun 2016 : 08:34:46 Is it possible to generate a PDF from schematic with searchable text (i.e. text being exported as text, not as lines)? I tried printing to PDFCreator and Microsoft Print to PDF but in both cases text got exported as lines.

Posted - 28 Jun 2016 : 12:58:03 Schematics and PCB detail can be exported to PDF from Cam Plots where Parts etc can be interrogated, schematic blocks can be opened and Fonts can be embedded amongst other options. The Find facility can then be used in the PDF reader to search items such as text strings.
