Is there any way to import gerber data into Pulsonix? This would be very helpful while working with legacy designs...

Should be right in File -> Intelligent Gerber Import

(with no open projects)

Ben is correct.

You can also load drill and CSV bom data at the same time and combined with the Gerber data it will do its best to construct a design as close to a full design as it can. The result can be used as a 'trace' medium or depending on what has been constructed, help to build new parts and design from.
