Pulsonix currently has an option to suppress properties on double click. If this option is deselected then double-clicking on on a symbol or footprint opens properties window but double-clicking on a line or connection starts appropriate edit mode. It would be great to have an option to always show properties on double click on any object.
As such the option could not be a Double Click so it would probably have to be a combination of key and click, you can use the 'I' key (or toolbar icon or Context menu) to open properties both in Select or Latch mode.
